I am a registered nurse and I have been nursing for almost thirty years. My passion for this profession can not be put into words and my duties never stop when I leave my workplace. I started my career as a bedside nurse in our community hospital. I worked on a med-surg unit, telemetry, cardiac units and step down units. I then advanced through the ranks and was a charge nurse, then an assistant nurse manager and finally a nurse manager. I even worked as an educator for nursing students teaching clinicals to facilitate my passion for the profession. My current role is an RN Care Manager, and by far the most rewarding and satisfying of them all in my career.
Nursing is not my profession, it is part of my identity of who I am as a human being.
- Nurse MicheleMy goals are to establish a trusting relationship with my patients and followers so we can partner together and find the best possible solutions to achieve optimal health.
I want to share my love for nursing and passion for care management with all of you. I want you to be able to manage your chronic illness instead of it managing you. I want you to have a resource when you feel like you have nowhere else to turn. I will highlight certain diseases and educate you about what exactly it is and what you can do to manage it.
